Xiao Long Bao: The Art of Soup Dumplings
Learn to make one of Shanghai's most iconic dishes completely from scratch. Xiao Long Bao— delicate soup dumplings filled with savory broth and juicy pork.
How do you get soup inside a dumpling? Is it injected? Frozen? Magic?
In this hands-on class, you'll discover the traditional technique behind these famous dumplings while learning to make fresh dough, prepare the filling, roll thin wrappers, and master the delicate pleating that gives Xiao Long Bao their signature look.
Together, we'll cook our dumplings properly so every bite is filled with rich, flavorful soup before enjoying our creations family-style alongside dishes personally prepared by Chef Britney Wang (Chef BaoBae).

Learn to make Chef BaoBae's most requested specialty Sheng Jian Bao— Shanghai's iconic pan-fried soup buns with juicy pork filling, savory broth, and crispy golden bottoms.
In this hands-on class, you'll learn the specialized process from start to finish : preparing the dough, mixing the filling, creating the soup, mastering the pleats, and pan-frying each bun to achieve the signature contrast of fluffy tops, juicy interiors, and crispy, golden bottoms.
Together, we'll cook our Sheng Jian Bao from scratch before enjoying our creations family-style alongside dishes personally prepared by Chef Britney Wang (Chef BaoBae).
